Benji is an adorable 1-2 year old male yorkie who weighs around 13 lbs. We were asked by a shelter if we could take Benji into our rescue due to some behavior concerns in the shelter environment. Benji is an active high energy pup who loves to play with toys and go for walks. He is still learning a proper greeting as he loves to run up to you in excitement and jump and bark at you. Due to this we are looking for a home with no children. He loves to play ball/fetch, knows the command sit and does know his name :-) Benji is enjoying the other dogs in his foster home but at times does not want to share any dog toys. He also loves going for walks and would love a home that would take him for nice long walks. He however can be reactive when seeing other people/dogs on walks so he will need to learn a distraction technique.  We would  love a home willing to work/train Benji and give him the time to settle in. He seems to prefer females over males, but we are going to be working on this and exposing him to a variety of people or he might be better with a one person household.
